The scrapbook contains postcards and photographs depicting campus life at Michigan Agricultural College, with a few scenes of Lansing and Grand Ledge. The Ivan Goodrich collection contains correspondence, reports, financial records, and Michigan tourist publications belonging to Mr. Goodrich as a private citizen, as well as a member of various Eaton County Boards dating from 1938-1966. This collection consists of a letter from James I. Rogers, of Eaton County, Michigan to his brother and sister in Wyoming County, New York, giving a very detailed inventory of his farm and an account of his agricultural prospects. Rogers describes the schools, businesses, and professions in the new town of Eaton Rapids, and tells about the building of the early state capital in Lansing.
